Kyocera's 10 A3 MFPs Earn Security Validation Seal for Device Penetration in Evaluation Tests by Keypoint Intelligence, an Independent Test Lab in the U.S.

Kyocera Document Solutions Inc. (President: Hironori Ando) announces that a total of 10 models in its TASKalfa 3554ci series (six color A3 MFPs and four monochrome A3 MFPs) have passed the Buyers Lab (BLI) Security Validation Testing for Device Penetration conducted by Keypoint Intelligence, an independent U.S. document equipment evaluator.
BLI Security Validation Testing is a security validation test for office output devices/IoT jointly conducted by Keypoint Intelligence and Accenture, a security consulting firm. Penetration tests were conducted by ethical hackers* with good intentions to investigate, among other things, whether it is possible to alter or leak user information in the product or manipulate the product to execute unauthorized operations. As a result of the test, it was confirmed that the TASKalfa 3554ci series is sufficiently resistant to various security threats assumed in the customer's operating environment and is a reliable product that can be used with peace of mind.
