Contents of "Kyocera Cloud Print and Scan" v1.14

1. Multi-domain support for Google Workspace

The organization using multiple Google Workspace (GWS) domains can log in KCPS with Google authentication and the user synchronization with GWS is possible.

2. Desktop client (Windows/Mac) - Enhancement for shared PC environment

  • When you switch user using the fast user switching function of the OS, you can use Desktop client without mixing Desktop client user.
  • When you access the PC via remote desktop access, you can use Desktop client without mixing Desktop client user.

3. Desktop client (Windows/Mac) - Feature enhancement

  • Proxy settings menu is accessible from task tray icon in terminal service mode.
  • When authenticating using Microsoft authentication, the authentication screen opens in the default browser.
  • The overall UI design is completely revamped.

4. Desktop client (Windows) - Visibility improvement of print mode

To prevent unintentional printing, improvements are made to clearly notify users as follows when the direct printing mode is selected.

  • A Direct print mode label is displayed in the Desktop client Print status dialog.
  • A confirmation dialog is displayed before printing when performing direct printing from the application.

5. KCPS HyPAS application - Expansion of print preference

Punch settings are supported for KCPS HyPAS application.

6. KCPS HyPAS application - Changing device settings

In previous versions, it was necessary to manually change "Remaining Print Jobs on Logging out" setting, which was newly added from ECOSYS MA4000wifx onwards, to "Continue" to ensure print continuation works correctly during logout. With KCPS v1.14, this setting is automatically changed when starting KCPS HyPAS application. Customer administrators will no longer need to manually change this setting.

7. Chrome extension - Expansion of print settings

The following settings can be configured when you print using Chrome extension.

  • Paper selection
  • Staple
  • Punch

8. New OS support

The following OS is newly supported for Desktop client.

  • Windows Server 2025

9. Removal of supported OS

The following OS is removed from Desktop client support.

  • macOS 10.15
