We are pleased to inform you that the issue regarding some OCR functions due to an OCR service outage at ABBYY has been restored.

Scope of Impact

  • Kyocera Cloud Information Manager: Customers using certain plans in Europe and Asia
    OCR functions did not operate and processing resulted in errors.
  • Kyocera Cloud Capture: Customers using the Basic Plan
    A failure notification may have been sent when executing a workflow that included OCR processing
    Affected workflow conditions:
    The file format includes any of the following: Searchable PDF, Compressed PDF, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint

Cause

This problem is caused by the license management system provided by ABBYY.

Current Status

The failure has been resolved, and the service has been restored.
