Updates of “Kyocera Cloud Information Manager” v2.11

1. Expanding folder permission (read, write, delete)

Administrators can now grant read/write/delete permissions separately for folder permission. Access permission can be configured for each user, making it possible to manage folders securely preventing operations or deletions by mistake.

2. Supporting email notification triggered by task due date

Email notification according to the task due date is now supported. (due data approaching/reached/overdue)
It enables early detection of missed actions and prevents delays in the workflow.

3. Sharing workflow templates

Users can now save workflow templates as shared templates. Sharing the templates of best practices helps streamline setup and operations.

4. Supporting mandatory attributes for document class attributes

Whether it is mandatory or not can be configured for each attribute of document class. An asterisk (*) is displayed for the mandatory items and you cannot save the document if they are blank. It prevents rework and processing errors by missing entries.

5. Supporting full-text search for TIFF files

Full-text search is supported for TIFF files. This allows you to search for texts in TIFF files and greatly improves search efficiency.

6. Deleting unnecessary versions of documents

Users can now delete unnecessary versions of documents. This saves storage usage.

7. Supporting a message notification icon

A message notification icon is added to the Kyocera Cloud Information Manager Web client. Users can receive the notification on the web screen.

8. HyPAS application - Disabling Fax Box creation using administrator credentials at the time of initial setup on MFP

For setting up a Fax Box, a function that Kyocera Cloud Information Manager HyPAS application creates a Fax Box using default administrator credentials of the MFP is disabled. MFP administrator can reduce security risks by entering the credentials explicitly.

9. Mobile application - Supporting Entra ID integration

Kyocera Cloud Information Manager Mobile application supports Entra ID user authentication. This allows integration with existing corporate ID infrastructure for secure and convenient mobile use.

10. Mobile application - Supporting multi-factor authentication

Kyocera Cloud Information Manager Mobile application supports multi-factor authentication. Strengthening authentication when using the mobile application reduces unauthorized access and improves security.
