Updates of "Kyocera Cloud Print and Scan" v1.15
1. Longer PIN code support
The supported PIN code length has been expanded to 4-12 digits to balance convenience and security.
2. Multi-factor authentication (MFA) support
The web portal now supports MFA combining 'username & password' with 'one-time passcode', significantly reducing the risk of unauthorized logins.
3. Bulk user synchronization with Microsoft Entra ID
Support for bulk synchronization of users from Microsoft Entra ID enables efficient and accurate user management in large environments.
4. Improved handling of external storage link expiration
OneDrive/SharePoint Online integration has been improved to ensure links used within 90 days do not become invalid.
5. Removed the field for changing the 'Organization representative'
The 'Organization representative' field has been removed from both the Organization profile and the Admin user profile screens to optimize layout.
6. Support for bulk download of scanned documents
When downloading multiple scanned documents, files can now be packaged and downloaded as a single ZIP archive.
7. Improved language selection display
The display format and ordering of languages in the language selection field have been revised to make target languages easier to find.
8. Guidance to organization representative on setting multiple administrators
The organization representative will be notified of the importance of configuring multiple administrators.
9. Increased spooled print job capacity
The maximum number of spooled print jobs has been increased from 200 to 500.
10. Direct OneDrive communication without Kyocera Cloud Print and Scan server (print/scan/fax)
When printing from or saving scans/faxes to OneDrive, the Kyocera Cloud Print and Scan HyPAS Application and OneDrive can now communicate directly without routing through the Kyocera Cloud Print and Scan server, improving processing speed.
11. Spooled print jobs to OneDrive
The Desktop client can spool print jobs to OneDrive allowing printing from the Kyocera Cloud Print and Scan HyPAS Application.
12. Desktop client - MSI file support
The Desktop Client’s MSI package structure has been revised and is now provided as an MSI package compatible with device management tools such as Microsoft Intune. The basic distribution method and core functions for installing the Desktop Client remain unchanged.
In addition, the uninstall behavior has been improved so that both programs related to the Desktop Client are removed together.
13. Desktop client – expanded installer display information
The Desktop client installer now displays more detailed installation information, making it easier to verify settings during deployment.
14. Desktop client - link to the Solution Support page in update notification
The version upgrade notification dialog now includes a link to the Solution Support page for details on new features.
