Renewal of Information Security Management System Certificate (ISMS) and ISMS Cloud Security Certificate

KYOCERA Document Solutions Inc. (President: Hironori Ando) was accredited with “ISMS※1 Cloud Security Certification” in 2017 in the efforts to address the information security. In 2021, to further the information security enhancement, the Company has extended the scope of accreditation to all the Software R&D Divisions, a subgroup of the Corporate R&D Division, to be accredited with ISMS (Information Security Management System). The Company underwent the renewal inspection in September 2023, which will be the third year since the Company was previously accredited with the certification and we are proud to announce that the renewal process for the certification has been completed.
With today's growing number of incidents of targeted or ransomware attacks, it is important to build up our ISMS and operate with it to ensure comprehensive information security through appropriate risk assessment against the threats.
The Company will continue to strive for better quality document solution services through the ISMS certification as a comprehensive effort to secure its customers' data and information assets and to contribute to expansion of its customers' business.
