First Unit of Our Eco-Friendly Inkjet Printer Implemented at Sanyo Bussan's Co., Ltd

Sanyo Bussan Co., Ltd., a sewing manufacturer headquartered in Osaka (Osaka, Japan, Representative Director: Hirokazu Yano), has implemented the first unit of our textile inkjet printer, "FOREARTH".

Sanyo Bussan is a sewing company that handles products such as Japanese clothing, bedding, and apparel. The company was exploring a business model that would allow them to quickly print, sew, and sell small-lot, diverse orders in-house. While facing challenges related to environmental impacts such as water usage and CO2 emissions in textile printing, they became aware of and resonated with the concept of our eco-friendly "FOREARTH," which requires no large-scale facilities and allows for printing only what is needed when it is needed, while reducing water usage by 99.98%, leading to its implementation.

Kyocera Document Solutions officially entered the textile printing business in May 2023. Through the technology and environmental friendliness of FOREARTH, we strive to contribute to the development of a sustainable textile printing industry. We aim to address various social challenges through the power of technology and contribute to the realization of a better future through new challenges.
