KYOCERA Document Solutions Establishes Sales Company in Chile and Acquires Local Distributor
Osaka, Japan - January 27, 2015 - KYOCERA Document Solutions Inc. (President: Katsumi Komaguchi) announced today that it has established a sales company, KYOCERA Document Solutions Chile SpA, in Chile to expand its document solutions business in the South American country. The new company commenced operations on January 5, 2015. It marks KYOCERA Document Solution's third direct marketing and sales office in Latin America following those established in Mexico and Brazil.
On December 30, 2014, KYOCERA Document Solutions Chile acquired all outstanding shares of VIGAPRINT S.A., the document solutions division of office equipment distributor, VIGATEC S.A.
KYOCERA Document Solutions Chile will expeditiously provide a total document solutions approach to customers throughout Chile via the marketing and service networks built by VIGAPRINT, already operating across Chile for its printer and multifunctional product business. The new company will strengthen business with the Chilean government entities and major Chilean companies located in Santiago, while exploring new marketing channels to expand its share of the local document solutions market.
