KYOCERA Document Solutions Adds a New Sales Company through an Acquisition of Distributors in Czech and Slovakia
Kyocera Document Solutions Inc. (hereinafter "the company," President: Norihiko Ina) has announced that its European headquarters, Kyocera Document Solutions Europe B.V. (President: Takuya Marubayashi), has acquired JANUS SPOL S.R.O (hereinafter "JANUS," President: Martin Januš, headquarters: Prague, Czech Republic), a distributor in Czech, and JANUS SK, spol S.r.o (hereinafter "JANUS," President: Jiří Hubený, headquarters: Bratislava, Slovakia Republic), a distributor in Slovakia. The two companies have become a new sales company of the Kyocera Documents Solutions group following several decades of successful partnership.
Based both in Czech and Slovakia, JANUS has a sales and service network covering the two countries, and have been operating in the business field of document solutions, centering on MFPs and printers as an exclusive distributor of the company for approximately 25 years. The company has achieved a favorable relationship with JANUS by supplying them with products such as MFPs and consumables.
By establishing its first Eastern-European sales company operating in Czech and Slovakia, the company will further expand its business in Eastern Europe. Moreover, by actively introducing ECM business and document BPO business in Eastern Europe as well, the company will expand its sales and realize its transformation into a total document solution provider. At the same time, the company will aim to become an entity that can present high value-added proposals beneficial to customers' business developments.
