We would like to express our deepest condolences to all those affected by the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak in China and around the world.
Kyocera Document Solutions Inc. has been taking actions to respond to the coronavirus outbreak and announces its current situation as follows:
1. Manufacturing and sales activities in China
Kyocera Document Solutions manufactures and offers document equipment,such as MFPs and printers in China, with its production base located in Dongguan, Guangdong Province, and sales and service sites in multiple locations throughout the country (Shanghai, Beijing, Xi'an, Chengdu, Guangzhou). The company does not have any sites in Wuhan. While there are certain regulations, we continue to carry out manufacturing and sales activities at our sites in China.
We will provide an updated announcement if there are any effects on business operations.
2. Employee travel
Currently, the company is postponing all business trips to China and refraining from traveling to other countries.
With regard to operations in China, we will promptly take necessary measures, in accordance with the guidance of the Chinese government, the Japanese government, and the World Health Organization
(WHO).
