Kyocera Completes Acquisition of OPTIMAL SYSTEMS
KYOCERA Document Solutions Inc. (President: Norihiko Ina; herein "Kyocera") today announced that it has completed the acquisition of OPTIMAL SYSTEMS GmbH (herein "OPTIMAL SYSTEMS"), a Germany-based enterprise content management＊ (ECM) solutions provider, making OPTIMAL SYSTEMS a subsidiary of Kyocera as of April 15 (Germany local time).
Since Kyocera and OPTIMAL SYSTEMS' shareholder reached an acquisition agreement on December 27, 2019 (Germany local time), both parties have been taking the necessary steps to close the transaction.
By utilizing OPTIMAL SYSTEMS' expertise in ECM solutions, Kyocera aims to strengthen its portfolio and further provide added value to its customers as a partner that contributes to the expansion of their business.
