KYOCERA Document Solutions Italia S.p.A. (Managing Director: Noriyuki Nakatani) announces that it will undertake its fourth collaboration with Flora Rabitti, designer and founder of the fashion brand Florania, on a new collection to be presented at Milan Fashion Week 2026 Autumn/Winter. The collaboration is built around and strengthened by FOREARTH technology, Kyocera’s inkjet textile printing solution that is redefining the paradigms of ethical fashion through a production process with an extremely low environmental impact.
A collection between memory and nature
Florania’s new proposal stems from a deep reflection on artisanal memory and the liberation of matter. Inspired by the collective work of seamstresses, folk songs, and the cinematic imagery of Bertolucci’s film “Novecento”, the collection explores the concept of rebirth through a fusion with nature. The season’s mantra, “If we are all one, you can’t hurt me,” expresses a need for protection and freedom in an often-fragmented society.
The silhouettes present a fascinating dualism: on one hand, the complexity of textile manipulations on silk and light fabrics inspired by the 1930s; on the other, tailored outerwear with historical rigor. Central to the collection are leathers sourced from circular supply chains, crafted with artisanal techniques and 3D pattern construction that restore dignity and centrality to recovered materials.
All materials used — from cashmere and denim to silk — are sourced from deadstock of Italian textile excellence, transforming living surfaces charged with history into a tactile archive that celebrates a femininity free from stereotypes and social pressures.
Cashmere, lace, denim, leather, and silk become living surfaces, charged with memory and artisanal significance: a tactile archive that evokes childhood, craftsmanship, past lives, and a physical freedom free from social pressures on the female role and form. These high-quality Italian fabrics are sourced from deadstock of Italian companies.
The prints, a key element among the brand's codes, feature references to lace and floral evolutions with nods to 1970s psychedelic graphics or the animist surrealism of Leonora Carrington. These patterns were produced in Milan, powered by Kyocera Document Solutions’ FOREARTH technology.
