ANREALAGE, which designed the uniforms for the NTT Pavilion at the 2025 World Expo in Japan, has adopted "FOREARTH" sustainable printing for the fabric.

Comments from Kunihiko Morinaga regarding the uniform

Resonating with the NTT Pavilion’s concept of "PARALLEL TRAVEL," I expressed future communication through clothing. This is clothing that transcends division and disparity, connecting points and sharing sensations to expand human potential. It embodies a non-material, wind-like sensation rather than a physical substance. Through clothing, it creates an experience of traveling through time and space, connecting with distant existences.

Item Description

The outerwear is the cooling jacket that wears the wind. It provides the airflow between the body and the garment, creating an abstract silhouette that surpasses the human “form”. It connects people like a "cloud," and expresses connections that transcended boundaries within ambiguous outlines. As the wind flows enough through, the fabric drapes come out and gently transform to fix to the body shape of people. The inner polo shirt also reconstructs the silhouette and detail proportions to create a shape that can be worn regardless of gender or body type. The dot pattern expresses the gentle merging of dots of different sizes and colors, connecting into one beyond boundaries. The fabric features "AZEKⓇ*3 from SHIKIBO LTD. " which excels in breathability and quick-drying properties. Additionally, the outerwear is an "KUCHOFUKU*4" that incorporates an electric fan, providing functionality to cope with the summer heat.

Comments from Kunihiko Morinaga regarding FOREARTH

The dot pattern on the uniform expresses the connection between individuals, transcending division and disparity. Dots of varying sizes and colors gently blend together across boundaries, uniting as one. By likening these dots to drops of water, the way they connect without boundaries symbolizes diversity and harmony. In such a design, FOREARTH's technology, which uses minimal water, was essential. Through the paradoxical expression of depicting the "form of water" without using water, it presents a vision of new craftsmanship that connects to the future.

*2 FOREARTH completes the entire process with just printing and drying. The printing process does not use water, achieving a water-free operation. It also pays attention to the amount of water used for equipment maintenance, featuring a circulation belt cleaning system that filters and reuses the cleaning water for the conveyor belt. The water usage per kilogram of fabric has been reduced to 0.02L (as per our research in 2022).

*4 "KUCHOFUKU" is a trademark of SFT LABORATORY CO.,LTD, and KUCHOFUKU Co., Ltd.
