KYOCERA Document Solutions Inc. exhibited at the 42nd MILANO UNICA 2027 SS (Spring / Summer) , which was held in Milan, Italy from January 20 (Tuesday) to January 22 (Thursday), 2026.
Milano Unica is an internationally renowned trade fair for high-end fashion textiles and accessories. Held twice a year (SS and AW seasons*) since 2005, it marked its 42nd edition in January 2026. The fair attracts brands and buyers from Europe and around the world. The Japan Observatory (JOB), where our booth was located, is a special exhibition area showcasing Japan’s high-quality materials and technologies. ※SS: Spring / Summer, AW: Autumn / Winter
At our booth, visitors enjoyed a wide variety of printed fabric samples, an exhibition of works presented at Milano Fashion Week, and screenings of the FOREARTH concept video. Furthermore, we offered live demonstrations through the “FOREARTH Experience Studio” located at the Kyocera office in Milan, where the production equipment is installed.
Fabrics printed with FOREARTH have previously been presented through collaborative works with fashion brands at Paris Fashion Week, Milano Fashion Week, Tokyo Fashion Week, and other events, receiving high praise from many visitors. This exhibition was an excellent opportunity to experience firsthand the vivid color reproduction and the soft hand-feel quality achieved by our environmentally friendly inkjet textile printer, FOREARTH.
Additionally, we exhibited collaborative sample prints with the London College of Fashion (LCF) at our booth.
As an affiliated college of the University of the Arts London—the largest arts university in Europe—LCF has been nurturing creative talent for over a century and has produced many distinguished artists and designers. In collaboration with students from LCF, we printed designs* that were specially prepared for this event.
These works not only showcase the outstanding design capabilities of LCF but also demonstrate the innovative quality and performance of FOREARTH.
*The designs were created by Xiaojue Xu, Bowen Zhao, Qishaman Shu, Joanna Cox, Ian Soe, Bihan Jiang, and Vanessa Budi, all students in BA (Hons) Fashion Textiles: Print.
We are delighted to have collaborated with Kyocera’s revolutionary sustainable inkjet textile printer, FOREARTH.
This collaboration embodies London College of Fashion, UAL and Kyocera’s shared values of sustainability and craftsmanship.
